The Express Entry System also enables provinces and territories to invite more qualified and skilled foreign professionals to participate in their provincial nominee programmes.

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) – This path is becoming one of the most popular options for Indians to move to Canada. Provinces such as Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and others have independent immigration policies for foreign migrants. Candidates in this category live in the provinces they first come to Canada. Furthermore, most PNPs require a genuine employment offer from a Canadian business in order to qualify.

Family Sponsorship- In order to facilitate family reunions, Canada has implemented a variety of immigration schemes aimed at reuniting family members. Canadian citizens and permanent residents may sponsor spouses, common-law partners, children and other dependents, parents, and grandparents under the family sponsorship programme.

Entrepreneur Program- If you are an entrepreneur looking to grow your business, this programme is for you. High-net-worth investors with sufficient managerial expertise are permitted to launch a new firm in Canada and then seek permanent citizenship. To be qualified, the prospective applicant must show that he or she has adequate cash and plans to invest in the Canadian economy.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot– Launched in 2017, this is a one-of-a-kind initiative that allows firms in the Atlantic provinces to invite or recruit foreign nationals without having to complete a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Currently, the goal of this initiative is to bring in a total of 4,000 immigrants by 2020. Local companies will help qualified foreign nationals in submitting permanent residence petitions and settling in the United States under this initiative. New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island are among Canada’s Atlantic provinces.
